The contact 112 and 911 are the international emergency helpline numbers. These numbers can be called from mobile even if there is no network or in keypad lock mode.
In India the emergency assist for police :100, Fire services :101,Ambulance :108,etc..Like this, it may vary in other countries. If you call these numbers it will automatically route to the local police control room in respective region and we can get assistance from police.
